Recording
How do I record a meeting?
Open the app, go to the "Record" tab, select the meeting language, and press the red microphone button.
Why does it need microphone permission?
To capture the audio from your meetings. Without this permission, the app cannot record.
How long can I record?
Depends on your plan: Free (10 min), Starter (15 min), Pro (60 min), Plus and Business (unlimited).
Can I pause a recording?
Yes, press the pause button during recording and resume whenever you want.
Transcription & AI
How does transcription work?
We use AssemblyAI to transcribe the audio and automatically identify different speakers.
What languages are supported?
Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, and German.
What does the AI generate?

- Action items
- Keywords
- Key moments
- Chat to ask questions about the meeting
How long does processing take?
Usually between 1-3 minutes depending on the recording length.
Privacy & Security
Are my recordings private?
Yes. Your recordings are stored securely in Firebase and only you have access to them.
Where is my audio stored?
On secure Google Cloud servers (Firebase Storage), encrypted in transit and at rest.
How long is the audio kept?
Depends on your plan: Free (7 days), Starter (14 days), Pro (30 days), Plus (60 days), Business (90 days).
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Go to Profile → Delete Account to permanently delete all your data.
Subscriptions
What's included in the free plan?
- 90 minutes of recording (one-time, doesn't renew)
- 6 AI feature uses (lifetime)
- Maximum 10-minute meetings
- 7-day audio retention
How do I subscribe to a paid plan?
Go to Profile → Manage Subscription and select your preferred plan.
How do I cancel my subscription?
- Open your iPhone Settings
- Tap your name (Apple ID)
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select NotarIA
- Tap Cancel Subscription
Are there refunds?
Refunds are managed by Apple. You can request them at reportaproblem.apple.com.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of the billing period. After that, you return to the free plan.
Common Issues
Transcription doesn't appear
- Check your internet connection
- Wait 1-3 minutes after saving the recording
- Pull-to-refresh on the meetings list
Audio quality is poor
- Make sure to record in a quiet environment
- Keep the phone close to the speakers
- Check that the microphone isn't obstructed
App crashes unexpectedly
- Make sure you have iOS 17 or higher
- Restart the app
- If it persists, reinstall the application
Can't sign in
- Check your internet connection
- Try Google or Apple Sign-In
- If using email, verify it's correct
